Danny's regular sub is my all-time favorite. I live in North Carolina now but still make them at home. Close but not as good as Danny's

Great food....love this place

Have eaten there many times over 30 years, great little restaurant for lunch or dinner, staff friendly, food very good, plenty of it, and tasty, will accommodate your needs, never had a bad lunch, recommend it, you won’t be disappointed. My favorite is the ‘ Jan ‘ sandwich on toasted rye with slaw on the side,, alway great.

Always great service and great food.

The food at Danny's is delicious and the staff makes you feel like an old friend! The very best deli in the area. I make the drive from Suffolk for a great sandwich!

Some of the best deli this side of Baltimore. Don't be in a hurry, but it's worth the light wait.

Amazing little diner. Was passing by and I stopped in for lunch. First impression was warm and inviting. Definitely cozy. It's like a small town country diner with nice lighting and atmosphere. Nothing over the top, just a quaint little setting, enough to make you feel comfortable. I found the wait staff to be very pleasant and hospitable. From what I saw, a lot of people are regulars and the wait staff treat their customers like family. I ordered the Debbie Burger for lunch and It was one of the best burgers I've eaten. I loved the amazingly delicious pickles they serve as soon as you sit down. I'm a pickle fan as it is, so that was a pleasant surprise for me.

Food and staff are awesome! I've been here over 6 times and their sandwiches are always great. Tiger sauce is potent. Nice family owned restaurant. Only took off a point for dated decor.

Ordered two hot Pastrami with cheese at an extra price. Had very little meat and even less cheese. What a disappointment and expensive. The two sandwiches and one soda was just over twenty dollars! It had been awhile since last time there and think this is probably “the last time.”

The sweetest lady I've met in a while took my order, but the worst $9.50 Chef Salad I've ever had. It's as if the preparer looked at me and said, she's getting the worst of everything I have. The ends of tomatoes, cucumbers, and the meat is getting old and starting to smell. Never again! Money thrown away. Don't waste your money or time people of color!

A hidden gem in Hilton village always great food. The people there are like family really nice atmosphere.

Danny's is a nice, casual establishment and a great local secret! Food is good. Service is good. And they put out delicious homemade dill pickle slices for an appetizer! Please "like" my review if it was helpful.

Love eating in this iconic deli... I think Danny invented the Reuben because they have the best one in town...

I love this place! Their sandwiches are tasty, their pickles zesty, and their crushed-ice drinks are so refreshing. The whole staff is friendly. Good people, good food, and good prices. What more can you ask for?

I just happened past this deli and I'm so glad I stopped in and grabbed a bite to go.. It took me back to when I was a kid.. The sandwich was delicious and took me the rest of the day to eat ...don't forget to grab a pickle

Great sanwiches at great prices make dannys a go to spot for a quick bite to eat. I highley recomend the salior with fried onions. Thanks dannys for the great food!

Great deli, great staff, great deli style food. Been eating here for 25+ years. Sandwiches and burgers are great but if you have a problem with anything, they will make it right. Wait staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful if you have any questions about the menu or any special requests. Love this deli. Nothing else like it in this area.

This is a small, old school sort of deli I have been going to for over 20 years. They have the usual deli fare and a large selection of specialty sandwiches as well. The service is always great, in part because some of the servers have been there the better part of a decade, if not longer. The cashier is extremely friendly and has been there for 30+years. Even after only coming in once a year after I left VA, she still remembered me and my family every time we came in. Oh, and they give you a little bowl of pickles to munch on while you wait for your food. It's something very small, but one of those things everyone remembers about the place. I honestly can't recommend this restaurant enough.

I think they have been there something like fifty years. Family business. Great deli some of the best pickles I have ever had.
